Bridgestone, a global leader in premium tyres and sustainable mobility solutions, is introducing its new premium all-season van tyre, the Bridgestone Duravis All Season EVO. Replacing the Duravis All Season, the latest launch from Bridgestone is engineered to deliver maximum efficiency year-round for van users and fleets, from regional to urban last mile deliveries, whilst reducing downtime and costs.
Alongside the Duravis Van summer and Duravis Van Winter tyres, the new Duravis All Season EVO completes the van lineup from Bridgestone. The EV-ready tyre provides significant improvements in mileage, wet performance and fuel/energy efficiency compared to its predecessor. Developed with ENLITEN Technology, the new premium tyre delivers 15 per cent better mileage and a 15 per cent reduction in rolling resistance for increased fuel/energy efficiency versus its predecessor. The Bridgestone Duravis All Season EVO also offers a best-in-class wet grip performance boasting an EU label A-grade. With its three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) and M+S markings, the new tyre is also fully winter-ready.
The Bridgestone Duravis All Season EVO’s performance enhancements combine to deliver a significant reduction in its total cost of ownership (TCO). These improvements are enabled by the integration of ENLITEN Technology, the company’s innovative approach to tyre development. In the case of the new Duravis All Season EVO, a specific polymer is introduced that boosts abrasion resistance – alongside optimised content pressure distribution and an improved pattern stiffness – to enable better wear performance and improve mileage. The new tyre also applies a dedicated filler type for enhanced wet performance, alongside high-volume slots in its shoulder for enhanced water evacuation and a new V-shaped layout to improve snow mobility. The tyre’s increased fuel/energy efficiency is made possible by the adoption of a polymer minimising energy loss, plus a sidewall protector rib which reduces the impact of curb collisions.
The integration of proprietary ENLITEN Technology also ensures that the Bridgestone Duravis All Season EVO is EV-ready. This means that, with the launch of this new tyre, all of the company’s tyre offering across summer, winter and all-season for light commercial vehicles is now fully EV-ready.
“With all-season tyres being the fastest growing segment in the market for light commercial vehicles, the Duravis All Season EVO is here to deliver year-round confidence to drivers and fleet operators as they face inevitable daily driving challenges,” said Stefano Sanchini, Vice President Consumer Replacement at Bridgestone EMEA. “Van users and fleets are demanding durability, robustness and year-round performance from their tyres. Our latest van tyre is engineered to provide exactly that – minimising downtime and reducing costs to keep fleets going safely across the seasons with a single set of tyres.”
Developed in Europe, the Bridgestone Duravis All Season EVO van tyre will launch in January 2025 and be available in 24 sizes ranging from 15” to 17”, including six highload 10PR sizes.
