One of Nottingham’s largest independent car servicing specialists, Lindleys Autocentres have announced they’ve opened their sixth branch in Hucknall, bringing 4 new jobs to the area.
The second generation-owned business. which dates back to 1959, acquired the premises on Portland Road with support from local law firm Fraser Brown.
Taking over the site from a previous garage, Lindleys Autocentres have commented they’ll be heavily renovating the look and feel of the branch over the next few months to bring it up to their high standard. The business has hired four new members of staff to run the branch and hope to add more technicians at a later date.
Lindleys Autocentres has five existing branches in Nottingham City Centre, Old Basford, Arnold, Carlton and West Bridgford offering a full range of vehicle services. The business is owned by David Lindley and his son, Alex Lindley is the managing director. David Lindley is the son of founder Richard Lindley and both his two daughters also work in the business.
Alex said “We’re absolutely delighted to finally secure the site in Hucknall. We’ve been looking at the north Nottinghamshire area for several years but never came across the right location until now. The first time we visited the site in Portland Road, we knew it would be ideal for us.”
