MAHLE Group, a renowned development partner and automotive industry supplier, has appointed Philipp Grosse Kleimann as the new Head of the Aftermarket business unit and a member of the MAHLE Management Committee. Taking on his new role on August 1, 2023, Grosse Kleimann will directly report to CEO Arnd Franz.
This appointment aligns with MAHLE Group’s objective of advancing data-driven aftermarket business models and adapting to the Group’s transformation. Grosse Kleimann brings a wealth of management experience in the automotive and mobility sector, along with extensive knowledge of service and workshop business, making him an excellent fit for the position.
Grosse Kleimann served as the Senior Vice President responsible for the Automotive & New Mobility business unit at SIEMENS ADVANTA CONSULTING in recent years. During his tenure, he provided consultancy services to companies in the sector, focusing on digital transformation, sustainability, and electrification. Prior to that, he held key positions such as Management Board Member of ERGO Mobility Solutions, where he developed and monetized innovative mobility concepts, and Chief Commercial Officer of the start-up Caroobi, a workshop platform.
In his new role at MAHLE, Grosse Kleimann will be actively involved in transforming the Aftermarket business unit into a digitally-driven, sustainable, and highly competitive organization. He is eager to collaborate with the MAHLE team and build upon the successful work of his predecessor, Olaf Henning. Henning had effectively led the business unit since 2014 and left the Group at the end of April, by his own request, to embark on new professional endeavors.
CEO Arnd Franz expressed his appreciation to Olaf Henning for his exceptional contributions as the head of the Aftermarket business unit. Henning successfully positioned the unit for the future and achieved remarkable results, including during challenging periods like the Covid pandemic. Franz also conveyed his enthusiasm for having Grosse Kleimann join the team, recognizing his entrepreneurial mindset and passion for the aftermarket as valuable assets.
