Pro-Align Embarks on an Exciting New Chapter Under New Ownership

The retirement of two of its founding directors, husband and wife duo Paul and Kathryn Beaurain, has paved the way for Philip Wylie to take the reins as the company's sole owner.

With his extensive experience in the automotive industry and investment banking, Wylie is well positioned to lead Pro-Align into a future filled with potential.

‍Expressing his gratitude for the dedication and achievements of Paul and Kathryn Beaurain over the past three decades, Philip Wylie will assume the role of executive chairman at Pro-Align. Wylie acknowledges their unwavering commitment to the renowned Hunter brand and wheel alignment expertise in the United Kingdom. Together, they have built an impressive foundation, and Wylie is enthusiastic about the company’s growth in the coming years.

Pro-Align initially emerged as a wheel alignment centre in Northampton in 1990. It later became the exclusive UK distributor for Hunter branded equipment in 1996. During this period, the Hunter name became synonymous with superior quality equipment and technological innovation, complemented by Pro-Align’s reputation for exceptional service and support.

The Hunter equipment supplied by Pro-Align has gained approval and widespread usage among major vehicle manufacturers, both in their dealerships and technical facilities. Additionally, national repair chains, bodyshops, independent workshops, and commercial vehicle facilities extensively rely on Hunter equipment distributed by Pro-Align. Presently, Pro-Align boasts over 5,000 installations of wheel alignment, tire changers, and wheel balancers at more than 4,000 locations across the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Excitement permeates the air at Pro-Align as the company embarks on its future endeavours. Philip Wylie shares his vision for the company, stating, “Looking ahead, these are incredibly exciting times for all of us at Pro-Align. We will continue to evolve our relationship with Hunter while also developing our structure, expanding our product range, and investing in products and services that ensure Pro-Align remains the number one choice for workshops across the UK.”

Despite the change of ownership, Pro-Align will continue its operational management under the capable leadership of experienced CEO Clive Seabrook. Seabrook has been at the helm of the business since 2019 and will play a pivotal role in steering Pro-Align towards continued success.
